Trying Mr. Trump, Private Citizen - WSJ
Their goal is to banish Mr. Trump from running for office again. The result may instead be his acquittal and political revival.
Ain’t that the truth.
We’ve said Mr. Trump’s actions—and failure to act to stop the riot as it unfolded—were an impeachable offense and urged him to resign. But now he is out of office and no longer the “imminent threat” that House Democrats said justified their rushed impeachment.

America, It’s Time for ‘Unity’—or Else - WSJ
Then there was defending the larger truth about Mr. Biden’s plan to get 100 million doses into American arms in 100 days—a million a day. An ambitious goal, his team called it. An ambitious goal, the press repeated, helping to lower the expectations bar for the new president. Only in the small print did we learn that in the final week of the Trump administration, doses administered were already up to well over 900,000 a day, on a rapidly rising trajectory. Ambitious indeed.
It’s no longer a surprise that the major media operations have a political agenda that they relentlessly pursue. At this point, it’s only a national tragedy.

Celebrity is largely based on occupation. Singers, athletes, actors, journalists, and the like get on their digital soapboxes and tell us how to think, act, and feel. They promulgate their moral code, which changes like the season. They prescribe the perfect politics and ideology for you, while largely ignoring it for themselves.
To base your life and morality based solely on the opinions of people in these professions is as inane as doing so based on the social media accounts of your plumber, chimney sweep, and UPS driver.

January 25,2021Off the Wagon - Catholic Husband
Physical health and spiritual health are two sides of the same coin. The human person is integrated, each component and system symbiotically impacting and effecting the other. To care for the physical self is to care for the spiritual self. To care for the spiritual self is to care for the emotional self.

15 Ways To Cope When You Don’t Like The President - The Babylon Bee
It can be tough to live in a country where you don’t like the president. Luckily, our friends on the Left have shown us how to handle this situation with grace and class over the past four years. Here are 15 easy ways to cope when you don’t like the president:
These are perhaps the greatest mirror ever held up to society.
- Accuse him of colluding with a foreign adversary with no evidence while sleeping with a Chinese spy.
Maybe he wasn’t sleeping with her, but the irony is rich.
- Riot in every major city, set fires, and loot for weeks on end for like 6 months going strong - but whatever you do, DO NOT riot at the Capitol or you’re a traitor.
I’ll always remember the Summer of Love!
- Research every actor and musician to make sure they all align perfectly with everything you believe before enjoying any of their art.

The Biden presidency will tell the story of Catholicism in America - Washington Examiner
Where non-Biden-supporting Catholics point to abortion and the contraception mandate, pro-Biden Catholics point to his opposition to the death penalty (see the development of the church’s teaching here) and support for just treatment of refugees and the poor.
A sad comment on the understanding of Catholicism. The Church has never taught that abortion is permissible, and yet, under the guise of peity and fidelity, Catholics publicly turn a blind eye to the greatest moral evil of our time by setting up a false dichotomy.

If Corporate Diversity Works, Show Me the Money - WSJ
The most powerful argument against a board diversity requirement is that if it were manifestly good for companies, there would be no need for it in the first place. Successful companies can’t keep secrets quiet for long; if one could reliably increase its market capitalization by, say, 5% through the appointment of a diverse board, every company on Nasdaq would already meet that standard.
